Day 8: URGH. Hungover, @vtwingrin gets a puncture, dullest roads yet, bloody horrible roads in Romania, and a long day as well. Halfway through the #roadtrip and I hope it was worth coming here. This country is very strange, it’s so far removed from the UK, it’s the farthest edge of Europe for me, the outer spiral arm of the galaxy here. And yet the roads are jammed with transporters full of used British cars. Eh? I asked a guy about them and he said they were super cheap but fetched good money in Bulgaria. So they’d drive to the UK in three days to get them, and take three days to get them back. Bloody hell.
