Last month, the publishers announced that this was to be reissued, and gushed about its influence on Huxley and Orwell. Naturally, I couldn’t wait six weeks, so I prised it off the shelf @thelondonlibrary - where it had not been taken out since three years to the day. Someone else had the same idea, and requested it remotely while I was busy and so I was restricted to a month’s loan.
