#WEBDESIGNER: one is not allowed to wash one’s own car at home - presumably to prevent contaminating of the watercourses with detergents and car muck - oils, brake dust, etc - and instead redirect that to professional establishments where these may be filtered out and processed properly. It also results in a LOT of filthy vehicles around. #Germany

#RIP: just learned that my old neighbour, Jessica Davies, passed away late last year and was followed by one of her sons, so sad. Bumped into her in November 2019 when visiting my late mother, collared her for a chat and a picture as I realized I didn’t have one of her. Still remember her as a much younger woman, when her sons were still teenagers. Will miss you in the neighbourhood, Jess. #twickenham
#WOMEN: the natural ratio of male to female human births is around 105:100, but factors in India have shifted that further towards the males. Finally, after decades of education, the balance is starting to shift back - there are technically more women than men in India now, but they’re elderly - of little use to the twenty-somethings who can’t get a girlfriend. My cousins and I have been complaining about this for DECADES, India’s inability to fix the collective treatment of girls and women. #india #women
