I really don’t like #QuentinBlake’s illustrations for #RoaldDahl’s books compared to the older, more detailed versions. Blake’s drawing is energetic and lively, but lacks depth, doesn’t convey meaning or add to the story. These fabulous drawings by #FaithJaques deserve to stay in print. This is my old childhood copy bought on 21 February 1984. #CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory
