Snake Charming

Snake charming was banned over 50 years ago, but the practice continued while people needed to make a living. But the traditions are dying out along with the charmers, and a visit to one of the last charmers around illustrates that. The son of the chief is showing off a little for the camera, knowing that I have just spent the afternoon watching his father demonstrating his magic tricks and powers over the snakes. However, the snake is not impressed with the son’s skills, or lack of, and his friend comes to the rescue.
