#ALTJ: started well, ended well, unfortunately the middle was #Brexit converted to music and I felt like immediately leaving the country. They really can play together, sound of the trio was great, but songs a bit dull. New album is pretty good but there’s too many sleepy bedwetting tunes in the setlist. Show #26 of #2017 (after an exhausting few weeks) is #Deposit, #MattHartley’s play about two couples sharing a one-bedroom flat in London for year in order to save up… First performed right here @hampstead_theatre #downstairs in 2015, it’s been revised with some cuts, older characters to add to the desperation, and rising prices. And #Brexit “is the unspoken monster at the epicentre of the play”. Great to be back here. #theatre #londontheatre #london
