Mum kept all my old toys. Apparently we used to make things in England before the dastardly EU. Actually we still make enormous amounts of things, we just don’t have to dig things out of the ground first. This is the radio my dad bought when he came to the UK in 1962. It’s powered by #valves and still works, I managed to tune it to #AbsoluteRadio and #FleetwoodMac started playing. Bands available: #MW, #MSW (what?) #SW times three and an auxiliary input for tape. We had it repaired sometime in the mid-1980s, cost about £18, for new valves which were probably damaged while moving house. #MadeInEngland
