And the answer to every #noshampoo problem I’ve had so far has been more moisture into the hair, and #noshampoo has let me saturate it with coconut oil. I smell like an oily sheep, colleagues and fellow commuters must hate me. Speaking of which, Northern Line last week. Brummie lady was offended by her neighbour asking her to be a bit more careful with the trajectory of her banana peel litter. This lit a fuse that ignited a veritable Catherine Wheel of profanities and abuse from our banana skin-wielding protagonist, deeply wounded by whatever her neighbour had said, for it triggered things like, “Moi family love me, that’s why I’m here, they spend a lot of money on me, because, because, because I’m not a c**t.” And so it continued. Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, probably a noob in offending terms

Into week 7 of #noshampoo and hair is staggeringly soft, seems to require more brushing than normal to spread the natural oil but I’m saving about two hours a week in washing. Rather than becoming a no-care hair thing, it just needs different care, I.e. Brushing and coconut oil. So far, so good. #longhair
