Not a bad result. Despite leading for most of the race, #ValentinoRossi ran out of tyre grip but managed to hold out for third behind #AndreaDovisioso and#MaverickVinales. Excellent race, amazing weather and a track invasion to boot! #motogp #silverstone #motorbikes

Probably one of the best Grand Prix races I’ll ever see. The brilliant @maverickvinales25 wins his first ever #motogp with the wonderful @calcrutchlow in second place at his home GP. And the master himself, @valeyellow46 #valentinorossi finishing the podium. Watched @andreaiannone wipe himself out, and @marcmarquez93 show signs of buckling under pressure. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. #Silverstone
