Weekend went thus: bought house; met Farrow & Ball colour consultant; ordered carpets; bought and made oven chips for the first time. This last point is significant because it looks like this is going to be all I’m eating for the next ten years. At least mum lives nearby to make us fish fingers to accompany the chips.
