Gotta say, @canongatebooks are my favourite publisher of all time, mainly due to #PaybackPress who started printing all the lost classics I wish I’d had when actually studying African-American History and Culture. Still I made up for lost time after uni. This is a brutal classic by #ChesterHimes published by Canongate in 2001. #CottonComesToHarlem. #CoffinEdJohnson #GravediggerJones
