A short photo story. @lolainlondon gave me a bag of random wheels and bearings so I could service my old skates. Anyway, I finally got around to stripping everything down, spraying the frames and boots with motorbike cleaner and washing all the crud off. Then, armed with lithium grease and threadlocker, bolted it all back together. Simple. These skates are 16-17 years old, I think, and skates have improved/changed a lot, but either you can skate or you can’t and the best skates in the world aren’t going to help clueless feet.
