Or, more likely, one guy teasing his girlfriend. Either way:

1. Photos are seductive and we like to add our own explanations to them that are likely wrong.

2. Does it matter?

3. It’s good to just wait around and watch.

#KRISHNACASTLE: Episode 4. There was no way of taking down the shrine so we worked around it. Krishna wouldn’t have minded, he was a flute-playing cowherd. The reason you see him depicted a blue colour is because his skin was very dark, like the common man. #harekrishna #extinctionrebellion #london

#KRISHNACASTLE: Episode 3. The place is a fascinating combination of every #squat I’ve ever been in and every #CrisisAtChristmas kitchen I’ve ever cooked in. #KRISHNACASTLE: Episode 1. Spent the day repainting the kitchen as a thank you for feeding so many of the #extinctionrebellion. The half-man-half-lion incarnation of Lord Krishna, #Nrsimhadeva, greets visitors as they come down the ramp. #london #harekrishna

Repainting Krishna's Castle

During the Autumn rebellion - Extinction Rebellion, that is - Krishna’s Castle fed tens of thousands of people every day. They’re wonderful, and in return the call went out for volunteers to help refurb their kitchen over a couple of weekends in November. Plenty of us heeded the call, I took some snaps in between bouts of painting and before I was whisked upstairs to cook for the other volunteers myself.

They’re based in the heart of London, under everyone’s noses, and you can find out more about them here.

#CAMELMILK: is a thing, in the shops, here. I did not know this. Your humble correspondent does not get on with milk, else this post would not be ending here. #london
