#CORYWONG: deep disappointment at not seeing any of the real band tempered by a good show anyway, although the danger with top-notch musicians is that strayed well into contemporary modern jazz - where the performers are having more fun than the audience - at a few points. Super-tight band, though. #funk #gig

#FRANZFERDINAND: I first heard of them at the penultimate #Suede gig in 2003, at the Brixton Academy, when I walked past someone wearing a striking T-shirt with the FF logo on it. They must have been industry or something, because they barely had one single out. But it’s been almost twenty years and they’re still with us, playing a CV tiny club in #Kingston, thanks to @banquetrecords and their stellar line-up all year round.
