During the Autumn rebellion - Extinction Rebellion, that is - Krishna’s Castle fed tens of thousands of people every day. They’re wonderful, and in return the call went out for volunteers to help refurb their kitchen over a couple of weekends in November. Plenty of us heeded the call, I took some snaps in between bouts of painting and before I was whisked upstairs to cook for the other volunteers myself.

So this THING is in the house. It is amazing. It chops, it weighs, it boils, cooks, steams, stirs, whisks and will hopefully render ever other appliance here redundant. It has set-by-step recipes on the screen which tells me what to do, because I’m a hopeless klutz when it comes to following recipes, but love technology. As long this isn’t connected to the internet, I’ll be happy. #thermomix #vorwerk #kitchen #appliance
