I forgot to mention: this is brilliant. Show #28 of #2017 is #AnatomyOfASuicide by #AliceBirch traces the story of how suicide affects three generations of women in one family; three women and their stories, sixty years in breadth, played out simultaneously on one stage. Brilliant as usual from #KatieMitchell @royalcourttheatre #londontheatre #theatre #london

I was born in #LDN and have lived here my whole life. @thelondonlibrary is my favourite place in #London and therefore the #world. A rabbit warren of books in St James’s Square, it’s an amazing place to work, to think and to be a part of. And they’re looking for new members. It is by far the cheapest place to work in London, and it’ll probably change your life. If anyone is looking for a great place to work, I have a voucher worth £50 off your first year’s membership. Deduct it from your tax bill as a company expense. #Londonlibrary #workspace #office #library

Show #27 of #2017, and the @almeida_theatre never disappoints. This place has a 100% hit rate with me so far over the last few years. I had a ticket for #TheTreatment on the first night of the previews, and bunked off because I was SOOO tired. But it’s #marvellous - so refreshing a script and production. Cracking script from #MartinCrimp. Nice one #Almeida, roll on the second half. #theatre #london #londontheatre

Deposit at Hampstead Theatres | Tuesday, May 30, 2017

6:14 PM

Show #26 of #2017 (after an exhausting few weeks) is #Deposit, #MattHartley’s play about two couples sharing a one-bedroom flat in London for year in order to save up… First performed right here @hampstead_theatre #downstairs in 2015, it’s been revised with some cuts, older characters to add to the desperation, and rising prices. And #Brexit “is the unspoken monster at the epicentre of the play”. Great to be back here. #theatre #londontheatre #london

Rosencranz And Guildenstern Are Dead and over-rehearsed at Old Vic Theatre | Sunday, May 7, 2017

11:38 PM

Show #22 of #2017 was a hyped-up #RosencranzAndGuildensternAreDead by the marvellous #TomStoppard. A decent @oldvictheatre production let-down by the two leads barking their well-rehearsed lines far too quickly at each other to give any resemblance of actual witty repartee. Totally overcooked. #DavidHaig was excellent, however. #theatre #london #londontheatre
